Eduroam Certificate Installation for Android.
Note:
Android phones have varied manufacturers, be aware this guidance may not match your phone exactly.
This procedure is intended to be used when the "Use system certificates" option is unavailable for connecting to eduroam.
Step 2:
- Install the certificate.
- Ensure that the use selected is "Wi-Fi" (it often defaults to VPN).
- You may name it whatever you wish.
- Restart the phone
Step 3:
- Connect to eduroam again
- EAP method - PEAP
- Phase-2 authentication - MSCHAPV2
- CA Certificate - [your installed certificate]
- Domain - [leave blank]
- Identity
- Staff: StaffNumber@napier.ac.uk
- Students: MatricNumber@live.napier.ac.uk
